Speech Evaluations & Reports
All evaluations and reports are individualized and adapted to meet our client's needs.
An evaluation is required before beginning speech and language therapy to gain a comprehensive view of your child’s skill level and identify areas of need. Comfort uses a variety of assessment tools to diagnose the presence of a speech or language deficit. Evaluations use a combination of background information, parent interviews, observation(s), performance-based assessments, and standardized testing.
Assessments can be provided within the child’s home or within our office. Comfort will provide a detailed report including discussion of findings and recommendations. Below are the areas and focuses of assessments that may be utilized. Comfort will reach out within 24 hours after receiving your information!
